GEORGIA CARES IS THE SINGLE, STATEWIDE COORDINATING AGENCY TO CONNECT SERVICES AND TREATMENT CARE FOR VICTIMS. THROUGH RESEARCH INFORMED PRACTICES AND EVIDENCE BASED ASSESSMENTS, THE ORGANIZATION COORDINATES SERVICES TO MEET ALL NEEDS AND DIMENSIONS OF A CHILD'S WELLBEING. STAFF FOLLOW A VICTIM THROUGHOUT THEIR PROCESS OF TREATMENT AND RECOVERY TO LEAD HEALTHY, SUCCESSFUL LIVES AS PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

1. VICTIM SUPPORT AND RESTORATION GEORGIA CARES WORKS TO IDENTIFY AND REACH VICTIMS OF CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING, HELPING TO RESTORE THEIR SAFETY, HEALTH, AND WELL-BEING. OUR STAFF FOLLOWS EACH VICTIM THROUGHOUT HIS/HER INDIVIDUAL JOURNEY OF TREATMENT AND RECOVERY, WHILE PROVIDING THE NECESSARY SERVICES AND SUPPORTS ALONG THE WAY.


2. EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND ASSISTANCE GEORGIA CARES OPERATES A 24-HOUR, 7-DAY HOTLINE TO HANDLE EMERGENCY CALLS AND PROVIDE CRITICAL ASSISTANCE. IN TIMES OF CRISIS, GEORGIA CARES FACILITATES AN OVERALL COORDINATED RESPONSE WHERE CALLERS ARE GUIDED THROUGH A STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS TO ACCESS IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION AND SECURE SAFE HOME PLACEMENT AS NEEDED. GEORGIA CARES ALSO ASSISTS LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE RESCUE OF CHILD VICTIMS OF EXPLOITATION AND TRAFFICKING.
