THE PURPOSE AND MISSION OF THE LAURA TABER BARBOUR AIR SAFETY FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT IN ALL AREAS OF AVIATION SAFETY BY RECOGNIZING SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS BY INDIVIDUALS OR GROUPS, GRANTING SCHOLARSHIPS TO HIGH PERFORMING STUDENTS WHO ARE FUTURE LEADERS OF THE AVIATION INDUSTRY AND SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MAY DECIDE.
