PROJECT LIFE 4 TN: IN 2023, TENNESSEE ACTION COUNCIL HAD FOUR MOBILE UNITS OPERATING THROUGH LEASES WITH PREGNANCY CENTERS. LEASE PAYMENTS RANGE FROM $200 TO $1,000 PER YEAR. THE MOBILE UNITS SAW ALMOST 150 NEW CLIENTS AND PERFORMED MORE THAN 100 ULTRASOUNDS DURING THE YEAR.
HELPING HANDS: PROVIDES ATTRACTIVE, HEAVY-DUTY DUFFLE BAGS TO THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN'S SERVICES FOR PROVISION TO EACH CHILD ENTERING FOSTER CARE IN TENNESSEE SO THAT THE CHILD'S PERSONAL EFFECTS CAN BE GATHERED AND HANDLED RESPECTFULLY, DEMONSTRATING THAT THE CHILD IS VALUABLE. THIS PROVIDES AN ALTERNATIVE TO BLACK GARBAGE BAGS. TENNESSEE ACTION COUNCIL PURCHASES THE DUFFLE BAGS IN INCREMENTS OF 5,000, WHICH SUPPLIES ENOUGH BAGS FOR TWELVE MONTHS.
