MERCY HOSPITAL ADA PROVIDES QUALITY MEDICAL HEALTH CARE REGARDLESS OF RACE, CREED, SEX, NATIONAL ORIGIN, HANDICAP, AGE OR ABILITY TO PAY BY OFFERING ESSENTIAL HEALTH SERVICES TO ITS COMMUNITY. MERCY HOSPITAL ADA OPERATES AN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY 24/7 AS AN ACCESS POINT TO CRITICAL HEALTHCARE NEEDS AND ENCOUNTERED 15,451 PATIENT VISITS IN FISCAL YEAR 2021.
THE MERCY CANCER CENTER AT MERCY HOSPITAL ADA HAS EARNED ACCREDITATION FROM THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF SURGEONS COMMISSION ON CANCER (COC), WHICH RECOGNIZES THE CENTER FOR IMPROVING THE SURVIVAL AND QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CANCER PATIENTS.
MERCY HOSPITAL ADA OFFERED SERVICES DURING FY2021 TO WOMEN AND INFANTS INCLUDING 485 BIRTHS.
MERCY HOSPITAL ADA IS A 156-BED, ACUTE-CARE FACILITY SERVING PONTOTOC COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS IN SOUTH-CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. THE HOSPITAL RECENTLY EARNED THE GOLD SEAL OF APPROVAL FROM THE JOINT COMMISSION FOR ACCREDITATION OF HEALTH CARE ORGANIZATIONS (JCAHO) FOR ITS COMPLIANCE WITH NATIONAL QUALITY AND PATIENT SAFETY STANDARDS. MERCY IS HOME TO A FULL SERVICE SURGERY CENTER, OFFERING THE SAFEST ENVIRONMENT FOR INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT PROCEDURES INCLUDING A TOTAL OF 2,319 IN FISCAL YEAR 2021. MERCY HOSPITAL ADA ALSO OFFERS A FULL RANGE OF RADIOLOGY AND LABRATORY SERVICES AND SAW 62,090 TOTAL OUTPATIENT VISITS IN FISCAL YEAR 2021.
