PROJECT CHILDSAFE, INC. WAS CREATED TO SUPPORT PROJECT CHILDSAFE, THE FIREARMS INDUSTRY'S FIREARMS SAFETY EDUCATION INITIATIVE. THE PROJECT CHILDSAFE INITIATIVE IS COMMITTED TO PROMOTING FIREARMS SAFETY AMONG FIREARMS OWNERS THROUGH THE DISTRIBUTION OF SAFETY EDUCATION MESSAGES AND FREE FIREARM SAFETY KITS THAT CONSIST OF A CABLE-STYLE GUN-LOCKING DEVICE AND A BROCHURE DISCUSSING SAFE HANDLING AND SECURE STORAGE OF FIREARMS TO HELP DETER ACCESS BY UNAUTHORIZED INDIVIDUALS. THE ORGANIZATION'S FOCUS IN THE MOST RECENT TAX YEAR CONTINUED TO BE EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT FIREARM SAFETY AND CREATING GREATER VISIBILITY OF THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS CHARITABLE PURPOSE.
