AN ESTIMATED 100,000 WARRIORS ARE LIVING IN THE UPSTATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. UPSTATE WARRIOR SOLUTION'S (UWS) MISSION, WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OUR COMMUNITY, IS TO OFFER WARRIORS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, HOUSING, HEALTHCARE, FAMILY SERVICES, OUTDOOR RECREATION, AND MORE. UWS HAS CONNECTED WITH 8,629 WARRIORS AND 787 FAMILY MEMBERS SINCE ITS INCEPTION AND 1,010 OF THOSE WERE IN 2021. THROUGH CASE COORDINATION WITH A A DEDICATED TEAM OF WARRIOR ADVOCATES, UWS MANAGED OVER 2,481 INDIVIDUAL CASES, ACHIEVING A SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME RATE OF 91%. GROWING OR NEWLY DEVELOPED PARTNERSHIPS, PROJECTS, AND PROGRAMS (IN 2021) SUCH AS THE UWS OUTDOOR RECREATION PROGRAM, THE FAMILY SERVICES PROGRAM, THE SPARTANBURG HEALTHCARE INITIATIVE, THE CHURCH PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM, THE RUPERT HUSE VETERAN CENTER, AND THE JUSTICE-INVOLVED VETERAN PROGRAM WILL ENHANCE OUR ABILITY TO WORK COLLECTIVELY TOWARD SOLUTIONS THAT IMPACT OUR COMMUNITY, OUR LOCAL WARRIORS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
