ARCADE COMEDY THEATER OFFERS THE PUBLIC A DYNAMIC SCHEDULE OF HIGH QUALITY COMEDY SHOWS, ELEVATING THE ART FORM IN PITTSBURGH WHILE STAYING AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE TO A VARIETY OF AUDIENCES. THE THEATER PRIMARILY SHOWCASES LOCAL TALENT, GIVING INCREASED PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE CITY'S OWN COMEDIC ARTISTS AT A CUSTOM-DESIGNED PROFESSIONAL THEATER FACILITY IN DOWNTOWN PITTSBURGH'S CULTURAL DISTRICT. ARCADE HAS FAMILY-FRIENDLY OPTIONS, INCLUDING A BI-WEEKLY AFTERNOON IMPROV SHOW FOR KIDS, HOSTS NATIONALLY-ACCLAIMED ACTS, AND PUTS ON UNIQUE SPECIAL EVENTS GEARED TOWARD ENGAGING WITH THE COMMUNITY.

IN ADDITION TO ITS 8-WEEK CORE CLASSES, ARCADE OFFERS ONE OR TWO DAY WORKSHOPS THAT FOCUS ON A PARTICULAR SKILL, TAUGHT BY LOCAL OR VISITING ARTISTS WHO ARE LEADERS IN THE FIELD, AND A MONTHLY -DROP-IN" CLASS FOR CURIOUS BEGINNERS.
