CONTINUE IN HELP PROMOTING PROJECT CORNERSTONE ABC LEARNING PROJECT FOR NEIGHBORHOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS (ASSET BUILDING CHAMPIONS), ACTIVELY ATTEND MONTHLY STUDY PROGRAM AMONG PARENTS, READ TO KIDS IN 1ST GRADERS IN LOCAL SCHOOL ON A MONTHLY BASIS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEARS. FOCUS ON TEACHING ELEMENTARY STUDENTS THE VALUE AND IMPORTANCE OF GRITS AND EMPATHY, TO RESPECT PEERS, FRIENDS AND FELLOW STUDENTS AT SCHOOL, AND TO FOSTER A POSITIVE, GROWTH MINDSET. EVERY MONTH, THE STUDY GROUP WOULD MEET MONTH TO DISCUSS THE BOOK OF THE MONTH, CENTER AROUND A NEW TOPIC. IN REGARDS TO THAT TOPIC, WHAT POWER POINT SLIDES MATERIAL TO PREPARE, RELEVANT YOUTUBE VIDEO THAT COULD BE SHARED IN ACTUAL READING SESSION TO KIDS. THEN GO HOME AND STUDY THE BOOK AND TRAINING MATERIAL, FOLLOWED BY ONE READING SESSION TO ELEMENTARY STUDENTS. TO CONCLUDE EACH READING SESSION, WILL HOST SOME DRAWING ACTIVITY OR CREATIVE FUN GAMES TO HELP REINFORCE THE IDEAS.


DONATION OF $10,000 TO EATON PTO, OUR LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION -- THE EATON PTO EXISTS TO BRING TOGETHER THE EATON COMMUNITY AND SUPPORT THE WELLBEING OF OUR STUDENTS. THE PTO HAS PROVIDED FUNDS FOR CLASSROOM AIDES, MEDIA CLERK, LIBRARIAN, ART AND MUSIC INSTRUCTION, PROJECT CORNERSTONE, AND A VARIETY OF CULTURAL, SCIENTIFIC EVENTS SUCH AS INTERNATIONAL NIGHT, SCIENCE FAIR, GEOGRAPHY BEE, MATH KANGAROO, ENRICHMENT DAY AND MANY OTHER EVENTS. IT'S GREAT TO BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES.


DONATION OF $10,000 TO LAWSON PTO, OUR LOCAL MIDDLE SCHOOL'S PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION THE LAWSON PTO EXISTS TO HELP BRING TOGETHER THE LAWSON COMMUNITY AND SUPPORT WELLBEING OF STUDENTS FOR GRADES 6-8. THE PTO HAS PROVIDED FUNDS TO SCHOOL'S SPORTS TOURNAMENT, LIBRARIAN, MUSIC (BAND, ORCHESTRA), AND A VARIETY OF CULTURAL, SCIENTIFIC EVENTS SUCH AS AMC8 MATH COMPETITION, MATH COUNT COMPETITION, ENRICHMENT DAY, FIELD TRIPS FOR RESEARCH, STUDY. IT'S GREAT TO BE ABLE TO HELP A BIT VIA DONATION CONTRIBUTIONS.


DONATION OF $5,000 TO JOEY'S WING'S FOUNDATION. I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT THIS INCREDIBLE WORK LED BY JOEY'S MOM, JOEY LOST HIS LIFE AT VERY YOUNG AGE WHILE FIGHTING FOR CANCER. I'VE WATCHED HER ONLINE POST AND WAS DEEPLY TOUCHED BY JOEY'S LAST VIDEO AS HE WAS PLAY THE VIOLIN IN HIS LAST STAGE OF LIFE. JOEY'S WINGS FOUNDATION OPERATES OUT OF HOME-BASED OFFICE. ALL OF THEIR FUNDRAISING EVENTS ARE PLANNED AND EXECUTED BY VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE PASSIONATE TO HELP CHILDREN FIGHT CANCER. THEIR MINIMAL ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS ARE COVERED BY A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS FROM MERCHANDISE SALES (GREETING CARDS, CALENDARS OF CHILDREN'S ART, TSHIRTS AND THIRTY-ONE GIFTS, ETC.) THAT MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR 100% OF EVERY DOLLAR RAISED IN SUPPORT OF THE JOEY'S WINGS FOUNDATION TO GO DIRECTLY TO RESEARCH, TREATMENT OPTIONS, PARENTS SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY FOR DEVELOPING LESS TOXIC THERAPIES TO TREAT KIDNEY CANCER AMONG CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS.
