MEMBER SERVICES - AN ARRAY OF SERVICES AND BENEFITS AFFECTING MEMBERSHIP TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: CONTRIBUTIONS FOR DIRECT SUPPORT OF TURFGRASS RESEARCH INTENDED TO RESULT IN DIRECT BENEFITS TO ADDRESS PRODUCTION ISSUES, ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY, AND INNOVATION IN BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES; PUBLIC RELATIONS, EDUCATION AND OUTREACH EFFORTS INTENDED TO PROMOTE INDUSTRY OBJECTIVES INCLUDING SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT, WATER CONSERVATION, AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE HUMAN HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF TURFGRASS; AND GENERAL DUES SUPPORT FOR INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT WITH ITS MEMBERS AND OTHER RELATED INDUSTRY CONCERNS.


JOINT RELEASE PROGRAM - TURFGRASS PRODUCERS OF FLORIDA, INC. SERVES AS THE POINT OF CONTACT FOR JOINT RELEASE TURF PROGRAMS WITH SOD SOLUTIONS, INC., A TURFGRASS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING COMPANY, AND THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA/FLORIDA FOUNDATION SEED PRODUCERS. TURFGRASS PRODUCERS OF FLORIDA, INC. PROVIDES ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT, PROMOTES THE PROGRAM TO MEMBERS, HELPS APPROVE MARKETING PLANS AND COORDINATES MEETINGS OF THE RESPECTIVE JOINT RELEASE COMMITTEES.


ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND FIELD DAY - A SERIES OF PERIODIC MEETINGS, CONFERENCES OR FIELD DAYS HELD ONE OR MORE TIMES PER YEAR, BASED ON CURRENT NEEDS AND OPPORTUNITIES. THESE MEETINGS PROVIDE INDUSTRY EDUCATION (AGRONOMIC, REGULATORY, TECHNICAL, ECONOMIC, PRODUCT EDUCATION AND FIELD DEMONSTRATIONS), MEMBER NETWORKING, PRESENTATIONS BY AND INTERACTION WITH UNIVERSITY RESEARCHERS, COLLABORATION WITH AFFILIATED INDUSTRY GROUPS AND CONDUCTING ROUTINE ASSOCIATION BUSINESS.


ST. AUGUSTINE BREEDING PROGRAM - TURFGRASS PRODUCERS OF FLORIDA, INC. HAS WORKED WITH ITS GROWERS AND THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA IN THE DEVELOPMENT, LICENSING, AND PRODUCTION OF NEW AND IMPROVED VARIETIES OF ST. AUGUSTINE GRASS IN AN EFFORT TO EXPAND MEMBER OPPORTUNITIES.
