THE FOUNDATION DISBURSES FUNDS RECEIVED THROUGH GRANTS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS TOWARDS EDUCATIONAL, VOCATIONAL, AND DEVELOPMENTAL OPPORTUNITIES TO CHILDREN WITH PEDIATRIC CANCER. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION IS ALSO ASSISTING STUDENTS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO INTEND TO PURSUE AN EDUCATION IN THE MEDICAL FIELD BY PROVIDING GRANTS. IN 2015, THE FOUNDATION DEDICATED A NEW EDUCATION CENTER THAT WILL ALLOW YOUNG CANCER PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND THE ONCOLOGY STAFF TO GATHER, STUDY, CONFER AND HAVE SOME FUN DURING THEIR HOSPITAL VISITS.
