AUCTION ACADEMY PROVIDES TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE AUCTION PROFESSIOANL THAT IS DESIGNED TO ENHANCE ESSENTIAL SKILL SETS, PROMOTE BEST PRACTICES, AND YIELD BETTER RESULTS. MORE THAN CASUAL KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED TO SUCCEED IN TODAY'S COMPETITIVE MARKETPLACE. THE AUCTION ACADEMY TWO-YEAR CURRICULUM IS DESIGNED TO HELP AUCTIONS AND STAFF TO LEARN, UNDERSTAND, MEET AND EXCEED BUSINESS GOALS. THE CURRICULUM BEGINS WITH A RAW PARCEL OF LAND, AND STARTS WITH THE BUILDING AND LAYOUT PROCESS OF AN AUTO AUCTION PROPERTY - PERMITTING, STAFFING, EQUIPMENT, TECHNOLOGY, LICENSING, AND THEN VERY SPECIFIC TRAINING IN DEALER CONSIGNMENT, FLEET/LEASE, FACTORY - BOTH SALES AND OPERATIONS WITH SPECIAL EMPHESIS ON NEW TECHNOLOGIES INTERNET AND SOCIAL NETWORKING. QUARTERLY CLASSROOM TRAINING IS AUGMENTED WITH QUARTERLY FIELD TRIPS TO AUCTIONS AROUND THE COUNTRY FOR FIRSTHAND LEARNING. THE ACADEMY WORKED WITH 3 DIFFERENT CLASSES DURING THE YEAR.
