PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES - WRITEBOSTON PROVIDES HIGH-QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO SCHOOLS, DISTRICTS, AND EDUCATION ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT LOW-INCOME AND LINGUISTICALLY AND ETHNICALLY DIVERSE YOUTH. SCHOOLS AND DISTRICTS ENGAGE WRITEBOSTON TO RESPOND TO THEIR SPECIFIC LITERACY NEEDS. WRITEBOSTON OFFERINGS RANGE FROM WORKSHOPS, TO FOLLOW-UP COACHING, AND THOUGHT PARTNERING WITH LEADERSHIP.


TEENS IN PRINT - TEENS IN PRINT (TIP) IS A WRITING PROGRAM CREATED TO AMPLIFY THE MARGINALIZED VOICES OF EIGHTH TO TWELFTH-GRADE BOSTON STUDENTS. STUDENTS CONNECT WITH PEERS FROM ACROSS BOSTON, LEARN ABOUT WRITING AND MEDIA, AND PUBLISH WRITING ON THE WEBSITE TEENSINPRINT.COM.


SUMMER JOURNALISM -THE SUMMER JOURNALISM INSTITUTE IS A SIX-WEEK PROGRAM THAT ENGAGES 25-35 STUDENTS IN WRITING SKILL-BUILDING, CAREER AND CULTURAL EXPLORATION, AND COMMUNITY BUILDING.
