Part 3

DURING 2023 THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED THE JUNCTION CITY BRIGADE BASEBALL TEAM IN THE MID-PLAINS COLLEGIATE BASEBALL LEAGUE. THE TEAM PLAYED A 40 GAME SCHEDULE WITH ABOUT HALF THOSE GAMES PLAYED AT HISTORIC RATHERT FIELD IN JUNCTION CITY, KANSAS. PLAYERS CAME FROM VARIOUS COLLEGES AND STATES AND LIVED WITH VOLUNTEER HOST FAMILIES DURING THE 2 MONTH SUMMER SEASON. THE JUNCTION CITY BRIGADE WON THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED A YOUTH SKILLS CAMP WITH THE COLLEGE PLAYERS HELPING THE YOUNGER KIDS IMPROVE THEIR GAME.
