THE KANSAS TRAPSHOOTING ORGANIZATIONS MISSION IS TO PROMOTE AND GOVERN AMERICAN STYLE TRAPSHOOTING THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF KANSAS IN ACCORDANCE TO THE GUIDLINES OF THE AMATEUR TRAPSHOOTING ASSOCIATION. THE KANSAS TRAPSHOOTING ORGANIZATION ACHIVES THIS MISSION BY ENFORCING OFFICIAL RULE PROMULGATION, MAINTAINING OFFICIAL SHOOTERS' RECORDS, PROVIDING FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT TO SUPPORT THE ATHLETES, PROVIDING PROGRAMS TO EDUCATE ATHLETES IN GUN SAFETY AND GUN MAINTENANCE, AND PROVIDING COMPETITION FOR THE ATHLETES TO PARTISIPATE IN.
