C-HIT PROVIDES THE PUBLIC WITH IN-DEPTH STORIES ABOUT KEY HEALTH, SAFETY AND MEDICAL ISSUES THAT ARE PUBLISHED ON ITS WEBSITE AND BY ITS MEDIA PARTNERS. THE STORIES, MANY INVESTIGATIVE, EXAMINE THE SYSTEMIC PROBLEMS WITHIN THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AND AFFECT PEOPLE. C-HIT'S STORIES FOCUS ON THE QUALITY OF CARE PROVIDED BY HOSPITALS, HOME HEALTH CARE AGENCIES, NURSING HOMES, AND OTHER CARE FACILITIES. IT REPORTS ON REGULATORY ACTIONS BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES; MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT ISSUES INVOLVING CHILDREN AND ADULTS; ELDERLY CARE; HEALTH CARE REFORM AND VETERANS' HEALTH ISSUES.
