ECCLA ACCOMPLISHED A NUMBER OF ACTIVITIES DURING 2021. THESE ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: - COMPLETED A STRATEGIC PLAN TO PROVIDE ORGANIZATION AND PROGRAM GUIDANCE FOR THE NEXT THREE TO FIVE YEARS. - LAUNCHED THE BACK TO WORK: ECE COSI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS IMPACTED BY COVID-19 AND SEEKING DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE ATTAINMENT IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. THIS PROGRAM HAS THE GOAL OF SERVING 225 INDIVIDUALS THROUGH 2024. - CONTINUED ADMINISTRATION OF THE T.E.A.C.H. EARLY CHILDHOOD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM, WHICH SERVED 60 EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONALS WITH COMPREHENSIVE SCHOLARSHIPS AND RETENTION BONUSES. - DELIVERED 60 GRANTS TO LICENSED FAMILY CHILD CARE HOME PROVIDERS TO SUPPORT QUALITY IMPROVEMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY PROJECTS, AND SUPPORT START UP COSTS. - ADVOCATED FOR UNIVERSAL PRESCHOOL AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NEW DEPARTMENT OF EARLY CHILDHOOD IN COLORADO. - CONVENED THE C4 COACHING MEETING TO BRING TOGETHER COACHING ENTITIES ACROSS THE STATE AND STRENGTHEN COACHING SUPPORTS FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNCILS. - PROVIDED 450 HOURS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING TO THE EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNCIL MEMBERS WITH TOPICS INCLUDING LANGUAGE JUSTICE, DATA AND EVALUATION, AND RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION STRATEGIES. - WORKED COLLABORATIVELY WITH THE OFFICE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD AND EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNCILS TO DEVELOP A SHARED MEASUREMENT TOOL TO INCREASE DATA COLLECTION AND HIGHLIGHT THE IMPACT OF EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNCILS ACROSS THE STATE VIA DATA.
