DURING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED SPECIFIC REQUESTS FROM EDUCATORS WITHIN THE RSU34 SCHOOL SYSTEM TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR CERTAIN NEEDY FAMILIES LIVING WITHIN THE COMMUNITIES THAT COMPRISE THE RSU34 SCHOOL SYSTEM. SUCH ASSISTANCE INCLUDED PROVIDING A CAMPERSHIP FOR A STUDENT TO ATTEND THE MAINE SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND MATH PROGRAM. ALSO, SEVERAL NEEDY STUDENTS WERE PROVIDED WITH CAPS AND GOWNS FOR GRADUATION THAT THEY WOULD NOT HAVE OTHERWISE BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD.
