IT IS THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION TO DEVELOP AND ENCOURAGE A UNITED EFFORT BY PARENTS, TEACHERS, SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION, AND CITIZENS OF THE AURORA SCHOOL DISTRICT TOWARDS A COMMON GOAL OF ENHANCING QUALITY EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS IN THE AURORA SCHOOLS. THE PTO IS A NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT EXISTS FOR CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES INCLUDING THE MAKING OF DISTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501C3 OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.
