TO ASSIST THOSE STRUGGLING WITH DEPRESSION BY PROVIDING THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE EARLY DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT, BY PROVIDING SUPPORT TO MEANINGFUL RESEARCH PROJECTS THAT WILL LEAD TO IMPROVEMENT IN DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF DEPRESSION. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED NO CONTRIBUTIONS TO MAJOR ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE RESEARCH AND/OR ASSISTANCE WITH DEPRESSION DURING THE CURRENT YEAR DUE TO REDUCED ACTIVITY, BUT INTENDS TO RESUME CONTRIBUTIONS AT NORMAL LEVELS.
