SMH IS LICENSED FOR 52 BEDS. WE HAVE 35 ASSISTED LIVING APARTMENTS. SMH IS LICENSED TO CARE FOR RESIDENTS WHO REQUIRE MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION, ARE COGNITIVELY IMPAIRED, PHYSICALLY IMPAIRED, DEPENDENT ON SUPPLEMENTAL OXYGEN, AND REQUIRE THERAPEUTIC DIETS. SMH CARES FOR BOTH PRIVATE PAY INDIVIDUALS AND THOSE WHO RECEIVE MEDICAID BENEFITS FOR THEIR STAY. ADDITIONALLY, SMH HAS 4 INDEPENDENT HOUSING APARTMENTS IN A SEPERATE BUILDING CLOSE BY. DURING FY2023, SMH TRANSFERRED ITS ASSETS AND OPERATIONS TO FREEMAN REGIONAL HEALTH SERVICES.
