DGLFFL PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR APPROXIMATELY 600 GAY, LESBIAN, TRANS-GENDERED, AND STRAIGHT ALLIES A SAFE PLACE TO PARTICIPATE IN BOTH A SPRING AND FALL SEASON OF ORGANIZED FLAG FOOTBALL. REGISTRATION FEES AND SPONSORSHIPS ARE USED TO RENT FIELDS, PURCHASE SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT, PAY REFEREES, JERSEYS, AND HOST EVENTS FOR COMMUNITY BUILDING. IN THE SPRING OF 2021 WE STILL HAD REDUCED TEAM CAPACITIES AND HAD APPROXIMATELY 225 PLAYERS, AND IN THE FALL WE WERE BACK TO STANDARD OPERATIONS WITH APPROXIMATELY 280 PLAYERS.
