THE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: (1.) TO WORK TOWARDIMPROVING ALL ATHLETIC PROGRAMS WITHIN PASCAGOULA HIGH SCHOOL AND COLMERMIDDLE SCHOOL (HERIENAFTER "ATHLETIC PROGRAMS") IN COOPERATION WITH THEPASCAGOULA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT. THE NEEDS OF THE ATHLETICPROGRAMS WILL BE IDENTIFIED AND THE FOUNDATION WILL SOLICIT PRIVATE ANDPUBLIC CONTRIBUTIONS IN ORDER TO FUND THE NECESSARY IMPROVEMENTS THAT WILLPROVIDE EACH STUDENT-ATHLETIC WITH A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE AT THE LOCAL,DISTRICT, AND STATE LEVELS. (2.) TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENTAL THAT PROMOTESEXCELLENCE IN ATHLETICS FOR THE PASCAGOULA HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL. THISENVIRONMENT WILL ENCOURAGE STUDENT-ATHLETES TO COMPETE AT THE HIGHESTLEVEL, AFFORDING EACH ATHLETE THE BEST OPPORTUNITY TO EARN ATHLETICSCHOLARSHIP TO SCHOOLS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
