PRIMARY EDUCATION FOR THE IMPOVERISHED OF HAITI THREE CHURCH PLANTS CHRISTIAN RADIO STATION JOB CREATION AND EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

SELF-SUFFICIENCY THROUGH JOB CREATION: OVER 30 INDIVIDUALS HAVE BEEN GIVEN FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT HELPING THEIR FAMILIES BECOME SELF- SUFFICIENT AND ALLEVIATE POVERTY WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THESE INDIVIDUALS HAVE ALSO BEEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERSUE HIGHER EDUCATION AT HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE LEVELS TO HELP THEM ADVANCE IN THE FUTURE. TRAINING HAS BEEN PROVIDED FOR THEM IN THE FIELDS OF CONSTRUCTION, BIBLICAL EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP.
AFTER THE 7.2 EARTHQUAKE ROCKED SOUTHWEST HAITI IN AUGUST 2021, OUR ORGANIZATION BEGAN DISTRIBUTING HUMANITARIAN SUPPLIES AND REBUILDING HOMES FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS WHOSE HOMES HAD COLLAPSED. WE BEGAN REBUILDING BLOCK HOMES FOR SINGLE MOTHERS AND WIDOWS WHO WERE AT RISK OF ABUSE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT DUE TOTHEIR HOMELESSNESS. WE ALSO DIS- TRIBUTED THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OF RICE, CLEAN DRINKING WATER, COOKING OIL, BLACK BEANS, RED BEANS, ETC., TO MULTIPLE COMMUNITIES THAT WERE DEVASTATED. THE BLOCK HOMES WERE TWO-BEDROOM HOMES WITH NEW ROCK FOUNDATION, PRESSURE TREATED WOOD TRUSSES WITH A TIN ROOF, DOORS AND WINDOWS. WE ALSO REBUILT A RESTAURANT FOR A WIDOW WHO USED THAT BUSINESS AS HER FAMILY'S SOLE SOURCE OF INCOME.
CARACOLIE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL: CURRENTLY EDUCATING 273 STUDENTS IN GRADES PRE-K THROUGH 6TH. HOT LUNCHES ARE SERVED DAILY. CHILDREN ARE TAUGHT MATH, FRENCH, HAITIAN CREOLE, SCIENCE, HISTORY, SOCIAL STUDIES, CIVICS BIBLE, ETC., AT OUR LOCALLY ACCREDITED SCHOOL IN JEREMIE, HAITI.
