GCOOS RECEIVED A COMPETITIVELY AWARDED GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, ENGINEERING AND MEDICINE (NASEM)TO DEVELOP A SCIENTIFIC DATA PORTAL FOR THE GULF OF MEXICO. AS PART OF THIS WE COLLABORATED WITH A NUMBER OF OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AS SUB CONTRACTORS: TEXAS A & M CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS A & M COLLEGE STATION, RPS GROUP INC. WOODS HOLE GROUP INC. FUGRO MARINE USA INC. AND OCEAN SIERRA LLC, THE MONEYS PAID TO THEM WERE FOR THE PROVISION OF IT AND DATA ANALYSIS SERVICES.
