THE NORTHWESTERN JUVENILE FIRE INTERVENTION RESPONSE, EDUCATION AND SAFETY PARTNERSHIP, INC., ALSO KNOWN AS NOFIRES, INC., IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CIVIC, CHARITABLE, EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES, INCLUDING: A. TO PROTECT OUR YOUTH, THEIR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES FROM DANGEROUS AND SOMETIMES FATAL JUVENILE FIRE-RELATED BEHAVIOR; B. TO PROVIDE FIRE-RELATED AND LIFE SAFETY ASSESSMENT, PREVENTION EDUCATION AND INTERVENTION SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES; C. NOFIRES INC. PROVIDED SPECIALIZED INTERVENTIONS TO JUVENILES WITH FIRE SETTING BEHAVIORS, AND TO THEIR FAMILIES, INCLUDING SCREENING, EDUCATION AND APPROPRIATE REFERRALS FOR OTHER SERVICES. NOFIRES INC. ALSO PROVIDED EXTENSIVE TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO FIRE SERVICE PERSONNEL AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO WORK WITH THESE YOUTH.
PROVIDED AN ARSON INVESTIGATION AND PROSECTUION CONFERENCE FOR FIREFIGHTERS, POLICE AND PROSECTUTORS. ATTENDED BY 200 PEOPLE INCLUDING POLICE, FIRE AND PROSECUTORS FROM THE ENTIRE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS.
