TO COMBINE ZEN MEDITATION AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING IN ORDER TO DEVELOP WISER, MORE RESILIENT LEADERS AND A COMMUNITY OF MORE AWAKENED LEADERS WORLDWIDE. TO FOSTER ZEN TRAINING AND DEVELOP FURTHER INSTRUCTORS OF ZEN LEADERSHIP.

IN 2021, THE INSTITUTE PRESENTED 8 MULTI-DAY LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS IN THE US AND EUROPE SERVING OVER 75 PEOPLE. DUE TO PANDEMIC PRESSURES, WE WERE ONLY ABLE TO EXCLUSIVELY DEVOTE 1 OF THESE PROGRAMS TOWARD HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, BUT THAT PROGRAM WAS HELD IN PERSON AND SERVED 10 PEOPLE. 11 OTHER HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS PARTICIPATED IN BLENDED ZEN LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS. OVER $4,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS WERE PROVIDED. ADDITIONALLY, IZL FACULTY PRESENTED AT LEAST 9 OTHER PROGRAMS TO VIRTUAL AUDIENCES TOTALING AT LEAST 1,200 PEOPLE; PARTICIPATED IN AT LEAST 9 PODCASTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, AND PUBLISHED MONTHLY ARTICLES ON FORBES.COM.
THE FEBI MIND-BODY PERSONALITY INSTRUMENT WAS USED THROUGHOUT OUR PROGRAMS, AND OUR FEBI OPERATIONS MANAGER SUPPORTED OVER 200 CERTIFIED COACHES. IN ADDITION, 13 NEW COACHES WERE CERTIFIED. IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR, THE FEBI PLATFORM WAS UPGRADED BY TRANSFER OF FUNCTIONALITY TO A NEW COMPANY AND THE UPDATED PLATFORM WAS LAUNCHED IN EARLY JANUARY OF 2022.
PROVIDED FUNDS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO OUR SISTER ORGANIZATION, CHOSEI ZEN, A 501(C)3 CHURCH, FOR PROGRAMS IN ZEN TRAINING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF ZEN LEADERSHIP INSTRUCTORS, PER OUR MISSION. SUPPORT INCLUDED SOME ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AND $37 OF PAID ADVERTISING.
