WE AIM TO INSPIRE MORE ART AND ASSIST ARTISTS IN DEVELOPING SKILLS FOR ART CREATION BY USING AND RE-USING THE AVAILABLE RESOURCES AROUND THEM. OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO CREATE "ART WITH PURPOSE" REUSING DISCARDED, UNWANTED, AND EXCESS ITEMS; CREATING GENERATIONS OF ARTISTS WHO ARE MORE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS.

THE COMMUNITY ART CENTER PROVIDES A FREE CRAFTING AREA WHICH IS UTILIZED BY THE GENERAL EPHRATA COMMUNITY. LATCHKEY KIDS AND PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ARE TWO SIGNIFICANT GROUPS SERVICED AT THE FREE CRAFT AREA. REVENUE OBTAINED THROUGH SALE OF DONATED CRAFT SUPPLIES. AVERAGE OF 123 PERSONS UTILIZING SERVICES EACH DAY DURING 2019. SEVEN TO ELEVEN VOLUNTEERS EACH DAY.
ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FREE AND LOW-COST WORKSHOPS TEACHING SKILLS ON HOW TO CREATIVELY REUSE RESOURCES READILY AVAILABLE AND WHICH ARE OFTEN THROWN AWAY.
