THE MISSION OF FIRST INDIANA ROBOTICS IS TO INSPIRE YOUNG PEOPLE IN INDIANA TO BE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY LEADERS AND INNOVATORS, BY ENGAGING THEM IN EXCITING MENTOR-BASED PROGRAMS THAT BUILD SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, AND TECHNOLOGY SKILLS, THAT INSPIRE INNOVATION,AND THAT FOSTER WELL-ROUNDED LIFE CAPABILITIES INCLUDING SELF-CONFIDENCE, COMMUNICATION, AND LEADERSHIP.WORKING CLOSELY WITH FIRST - FOR INSPIRATION AND RECOGNITION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY - OUR PREK-12 ROBOTICS-BASED PROGRAMS PROVIDE STUDENTS A HANDS-ON, MENTOR-LED OPPORTUNITY IN PROJECT-BASED LEARNING.
