NO MORE NIGHTMARES: THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE RESOURCES IN THE FORM OF EQUIPMENT GRANTS AND ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY TO PEOPLE LIVING WITH ANY DISABILITY. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION SUPPLIED 45 EQUIPMENT GRANTS TOTALING $130,480.COVID-19 RESOURCE RELIEF PROGRAM: THE COVID-19 RESOURCE RELIEF (CRR) PROGRAM PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH ANY DISABILITY, DIAGNOSIS, OR CHRONIC ILLNESS TO HELP ALLEVIATE THE BURDEN OF THE CORONAVIRUS-RELATED QUARANTINES AND SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES. THIS VIRUS HAS CREATED A VARIETY OF BRAND NEW STRUGGLES IN DAILY LIFE, MANY OF WHICH ARE TIED TO THE FINANCIAL IMPACT OF WIDESPREAD QUARANTINE. LAUGHING AT MY NIGHTMARE PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO THE DISABILITY COMMUNITY IN THE FORM OF ONE $100 GIFT CARD TO BE USED FOR FOOD, HYGIENE PRODUCTS, AND OTHER LIVING EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH SELF-ISOLATION AND QUARANTINE. LAUGHING AT MY NIGHTMARE, INC. PROVIDED 749 GIFT CARDS TOTALING $74,900.
POSITIVITY OUTREACH: IN 2021, LAUGHING AT MY NIGHTMARE WORKED TO SPREAD POSITIVITY THROUGH OUR VIRTUAL SPEAKING PROGRAM.
