OUR MISSION IS TO ENGAGE COMMUNITY LEADERS, BUSINESSES, ORGANIZATIONS, (SEE SCHEDULE O) PATIENTS, FAMILIES AND FRIENDS AS AMBASSADORS OF AND INVESTORS IN BARNES-JEWISH ST. PETERS HOSPITAL AND PROGRESS WEST HEALTHCARE CENTER TO MEET THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY AND TO MAINTAIN AND/OR EXPAND THE HOSPITALS' PATIENT CARE SERVICES AND HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS.

BARNES-JEWISH ST. PETERS PROGRESS WEST FOUNDATION PROVIDED PATIENT CARE SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF ASSISTING AND SUPPORTING CAREGIVERS, SUPPORTING PATIENTS IN THE SITEMAN CANCER CENTER, ENHANCING PATIENT EXPERIENCES THROUGHOUT THE HOSPITAL INCLUDING "FIRST NEW BABY" BASKET, SUPPORT TO THE AUXILIARY WHO PROVIDE OVERALL PATIENT WELLNESS SUPPORT, AND DIRECT SUPPORT TO PATIENTS IN NEED OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE.


BARNES-JEWISH ST PETERS PROGRESS WEST FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE LIAM MICHAEL FOUNDATION'S TRIVIA NIGHT TO HELP ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL OF PROVIDING ASSISTANCE FOR MENTAL ILLNESS, DEPRESSION AND SUICIDE AWARENESS.


BARNES-JEWISH ST. PETERS PROGRESS WEST FOUNDATION PROVIDED CAPITAL SUPPORT TO PROGRESS WEST HEALTH CENTER FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR NEW PATIENT RECLINERS THAT REPLACED OLDER MODELS. THE RECLINERS SUPPORT THE REDUCTION OF FALL RISKS IN PATIENT ROOMS.


BARNES-JEWISH ST. PETERS PROGRESS WEST FOUNDATION PROVIDED UNIFORMS FOR NEW EMPLOYEES IN THE PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN COHORT PROGRAM UPON GRADUATION, EMPLOYEE CARE BOXES AND A REFRIGERATOR FOR THE WOUND CARE DEPARTMENT STAFF.
