THE MISSION OF THE BRANCHBURG ROTARY FOUNDATION IS TO ENGAGE IN CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT BRANCHBURG, THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES AND AROUND THE WORLD.

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE VETERANS PROGRAMS, LOCAL FOOD BANKS, YOUTH ORGANIZATION PROGRAMS AND SCHOLARSHIPS IN BRANCHBURG TOWNSHIP, THE SURRROUNDING COMMUNITIES AND COMMUNITIES AROUND THE WORLD. IN FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30,2021 A GREATER EMPHASIS WAS PUT ON THE GROWING PROBLEM OF FOOD INSECURITY IN SOMERSET COUNTY. THE ORGANIZATION HAS PARTNERED WITH THE SOMERSET COUNTY FOOD BANK NETWORK AND PARCIPATED IN A SOUP KITCHEN WITH SEVERAL CHURCHES AND OTHER NON-PROFITS WHICH DISTRIBUTES FRESH MADE SOUPS AND MEALS TO APPROXIMATELY 200 FAMILIES. IN ADDITION SEVERAL FUNDRAISERS WERE HELD-A VIRTUAL COMDEY NUGHT AND A FAMILY FUN DAY. THESE EVENTS RAISED FUNDS TO ALLOW THE ROTARY TO CONTINUE ITS MISSION TO AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL YOUTH AND OTHER COMMUNITY PROGRAMS THAT THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS. THE ROTARY CONTINUES TO SUPPORT VARIOU VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS IN THEIR CONTINUED EFFORT TO SUPPORT OUR VETERANS AND THEIR UNIQUE NEEDS THROUGH VARIOUS SUPPORT SERVICES.
