IN 2023 CHARLES A. CARROLL III MADE TWO TRIPS TO AFRICA. HE VISITED BENIN, CAMEROON AND CHAD. ON THESE TRIPS, VOLUNTEER LEADERS FROM SURROUNDING NATIONS, CAME TO RECEIVE ENCOURAGEMENT, MINISTRY ANDINSTRUCTION. ADDITIONALLY, SOME LARGER EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY TOOK PLACE, WHERE HUNDREDS SURRENDERED THEIR LIVES TO BECOME FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST AND MANY WERE MIRACULOUSLY HEALED BY JESUS. THEIR SECOND FRONTIER MISSIONS ACADEMY (FMA) WAS HELD IN GAROUA, CAMEROON. THEY SPENT THE LAST WEEK WITH THESE 15 STUDENTS AND GRADUATED THEM. SOME OF THEM HAVE ALREADY MOVED TO LIVE WITH THEIR FIRST YEAR FMA GRADUATES AMONG CERTAIN UNREACHED PEOPLES. THEY ALSO PUT A WATER WELL IN ON A FARM BELONGING TO A MINISTRY IN KEIO, CHAD, WHICH HAS 30 STREET CHILDREN THAT THEY ARE RAISING, LOVING THEM INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD THROUGH PROVIDING PRACTICAL LOVE AND CONNECTING AS MANY AS THEY ABLE BACK TO THEIR FAMILIES. THE WATER WELL WILL ENABLE THEM TO FARM FOOD FOR THE CHILDREN. THEY HAVE BEGUN TAKING A MORE PROACTIVE ROLE TO MAKE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST FROM CERTAIN UNENGAGED UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS (UUPGS) AND UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS (UPGS). DOING SO HAS CAUSED THEM TO EVALUATE THE VIDEO, ELECTRONIC MISSIONARY TRAINING THEY HAVE BEEN USING. FOR THE MOST PART IT IS NOT FEASIBLE TO USE AT THIS GRASSROOTS LEVEL, BECAUSE OF THE COST AND LACK OF ACCESS TO ELECTRICITY. THUS THEY HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING EFFECTIVE AMD EFFICIENT WAYS TO CAUSE MOVEMENTS OF DISCIPLE MAKING AMONG THESE PEOPLES AND HAVE LANDED UPON CERTAIN PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES TO EMPLOY. IN 2024 AND BEYOND, THEY ARE AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE LIVE SCHOOL (LS), THOUGH OUR FOCUS IS NOW MORE CONCENTRATED ON REACHING THE PEOPLE THAN HELPING CHURCHES RAISE UP LABORERS FOR THEMSELVES.
