THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO OPERATE A SHORT-TERM HOUSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER FOR HOMELESS US MILITARY VETERANS. THE CENTER'S SLOGAN IS 'PASSPORT TO INDEPENDENCE.' IN ADDITION TO THE PROVISION OF LIMITED HEALTH CARE, THE CENTER WILL PROVIDE SHORT-TERM HOUSING TO HOMELESS VETERANS AND ASSISTANCE WITH OBTAINING VETERAN BENEFITS. FURTHER, THE CENTER WILL SEEK TO ASSIST IN THE RESTORATION ITS VETERANS TO CIVILIAN LIFE, THROUGH COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS WITH OTHER AGENCIES AND THE ORGANIZATION'S ASSOCIATES, BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO MENTAL, PHYSICAL, AND EDUCATIONAL REHABILITATIVE SERVICES.
