BTG COMMUNITY OUTREACH DISTRIBUTES FOOD, TOILETRIES, AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS EVERY WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY WITHOUT CONDITION TO THOSE WILLING TO SEE CHANGE IN THEIR PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES. BTG IS COMMITTED TO FIGHTING PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL HUNGER BY PROVIDING WHOLESOME FOOD AND VALUABLE LINKS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES. WE STRIVE TO FORGE RELATIONSHIPS OF CHANGE WITH DEPENDABLE ORGANIZATIONS LOCATED WITHIN OUR OWN COMMUNITIES. SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS, CHURCHES, MINISTRIES, AND COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER GROUPS PROVIDE VALUABLE MANPOWER. THANKS TO THEIR DEDICATION WE CAN CONTINUE TO IMPACT OUR NEIGHBORS' LIVES AT TIMES WHEN THEY NEED HELP THE MOST.WE SERVE OVER 4,000 PEOPLE IN NEED A MONTH THROUGH OUR FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM. BTG HOSTS CHRISTMAS IN COWETA. BTG PROVIDES CHRISTMAS TO 1500+ KIDS IN COWETA COUNTY. BTG PARTNERS WITH 15 DIFFERENT CHURCHES AROUND THE COUNTY TO PROVIDE CHRISTMAS PRESENTS TO CHILDREN THROUGH THEIR CHRISTMAS IN COWETA PROGRAM. THIS IS TO HELP ALLEVIATE THE BURDEN FOR FAMILIES WHO MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PRESENTS FOR THEIR CHILDREN.
BTG IS ACTIVE IN OUR COWETA COUNTY SCHOOLS. OVER 300 VOLUNTEERS TOOK PART IN OUR SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM AND SERVED OVER 25,000 SACK LUNCHES TO CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY.
