GUIDE A NEW GENERATION OF PERFORMING ARTISTS AS THEY LEARN FROM - AND COLLABORATE WITH - OUR WORLD-CLASS FACULTY OF WORKING PROFESSIONALS. WE USE AND DISCOVER INNOVATIVE TEACHING TECHNIQUES THAT IGNITE CURIOSITY, INSPIRE CONFIDENCE, AND PROMOTE RISK-TASKING BECAUSE WE BELIEVE THE WORLD NEEDS ART MADE BY BOLD, COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE WHO ARE A CREDIT TO THE COMMUNITY THEY SERVE.

DURING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1, 2021 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2022, THE PERFORMING ARTS PROJECT WAS ABLE TO CARRY OUT OUR MISSION BY PROVIDING CUTTING EDGE PERFORMING ARTS TRAINING IN JUNE AND JULY, APPROXIMATELY 100 STUDENTS ATTENDED OUR FOUR SUMMER INTENSIVES. HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS SPENT THREE-WEEKS WITH US STUDYING ACTING, DANCE, VOICE, WRITING AND MORE. DURING THESE PROGRAMS, WHICH OCCURRED ON THE CAMPUS OF RIDER UNIVERSITY IN NEW JERSEY, STUDENTS HAD THE CHANCE TO WORK WITH PERFORMANCE PROFESSIONALS FROM THE BROADWAY AND FILM COMMUNITY. CLASSES INCLUDED: CONTEMPORARY DANCE, ACTING FOR THE CAMERA, VOCAL TECHNIQUE, PREPARATION FOR A PROFESSIONAL CAREER IN THE ARTS IN NEW YORK, PREPARATION FOR THE COLLEGE APPLICATION AND AUDITION PROCESS AND MANY MORE. WE ALSO HELD ONLINE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES IN WHICH STUDENTS WERE ABLE TO PURCHASE INDIVIDUAL CLASSES THAT WERE DONATED FROM OUR FACULTY MEMBERS.
