THE PURPOSE OF THE LOWVILLE FOOD PANTRY INC IS TO MEET THE EMERGENCY FOOD NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES HAVING A FOOD HARDSHIP AND TO AID DURING NATURAL AND MAN-MADE EMERGENCIES. THE PANTRY PROVIDES FOOD, HOUSEHOLD AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS, AND BABY NECESSITIES TO ALL WHO KNOCK ON THE DOOR WITH A NEED REGARDLESS OF AGE, SEX, RACE, CREED, COLOR, POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR SEXUAL PREFENCE IN THE MOST UNDERSTANDING AND SYMPATHETIC MANNER, RECOGNIZING THE DIGNITY AND EQUALITY IN EACH. THE CHRISTMAS SHARING AND SANTA FOR SENIORS PROGRAM PROVIDES HOLIDAY ASSITANCE CONSISTING OF FOOD, GIFTS, AND CLOTHING. CHRISTMAS SHARING AND SANTA FOR SENIORS PROGRAMS PROVIDE FOOD, CLOTHING, PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS, AND GIFTS TO CHILDREN, ADULTS, AND FAMILIES AT CHRISTMAS.
FOOD SENSE PROGRAM THROUGH FOOD BANK OF CNY HELPS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES STRETCH FOOD DOLLARS AND TO DECREASE NEED FOR EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE. ANYONE WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE, COST IS THE COST OF THE FOOD RECEIVED THROUGH FOOD BANK OF CNY.
