CONFLUENCE ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER'S MISSION IS TO BRING TOGETHER STREAMS OF THOUGHT, ACTION AND PEOPLE TO MAKE THE ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT MORE ROBUST, INCLUSIVE AND EFFECTIVE. WE LAUNCHED OPERATIONS IN SEPTEMBER OF 2011 AS A PROJECT OF THE PALOUSE-CLEARWATER ENVIRONMENTAL INSTITUTE (PCEI) AND IN JANUARY, 2012 RECEIVED 501(C)3 TAX EXEMPT STATUS.

THE CONFLUENCE AMERICORPS PROGRAM ADVANCES ENVIRONMENTAL EQUITY BY PARTNERING WITH COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS, PUBLIC SCHOOLS, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES WHO VALUE SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE.
