AT THE REQUEST OF A MAJOR DONOR, A PORTION OF THEIR GIFT WENT TO LETHAS AFTER SCHOOL CLUB PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN. THIS WAS A ONE-TIME GIFT TO THAT PROGRAM WHICH IS RUN BY OUR PARTNERS IN INDIA WHO RUN THE LITERACY CLASSES. WITH THE DONORS HEARTS FOR LITERACY AND CHILDREN, THEY MADE THEIR LARGE CONTRIBUTION TO AFFECT BOTH.
REWRITE LIFE PARTNERS WITH AND EQUIPS ORGANIZATIONS WITH LITERACY TOOLS TO EDUCATE AND TRANSFORM ADULTS AND VILLAGES IN INDIA, KENYA, ETHIOPIA AND UGANDA. THE PROGRAM IS A LITERACY FIRST APPROACH, BRINGING LEARNERS TO A 5TH GRADE LEVEL OF EDUCATION, PROMOTING HEALTH AND SOCIAL AWARENESS, ELEVATING ECONOMIC STATUS AND INSTILLING MORAL, ETHICAL AND SPIRITUAL VALUES. IN ADDITION TO MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS, THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED DONATION PROFESSIONAL SERVICES VALUED AT $15,855. THESE VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED MANAGEMENT SERVICES IN THE UNITED STATES, INDIA AND AFRICA FOR THE COORDINATION OF THE TEACHERS TO REACH THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS WITH THE LITERACY TOOLS PROVIDED TO THEM. DURING THE 12 MONTHS ENDED 3-31-22, REWRITE LIFE TRAINED 488 TEACHERS IN 4 COUNTRIES AND ENROLLED MORE THAN 14,525 STUDENTS.
