THE MISSION OF THE INCUBATOR IS TO PROVIDE BUSINESS EDUCATION ASSISTANCE FOR ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURS AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS. THE EDUCATTIONAL SERVICES OFFERED BY THE PROGRAM ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL ENTREPRENEURS AND PROSPECTIVE SMALL BUSINESS.

MID AMERICA REGIONAL DEVELOPMENTAL INCUBATOR HAS APPLIED FOR A GRANT WITH MISSOURI TO DEVELOP A CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR NON-GMO SOYBEANS AND CORN. THE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM WILL PREVENT OTHER STATES FROM DUMPING NON-GMO PRODUCTS IN MISSOURI AFTER WE HAVE DEVELOPED MARKETS IN MISSOURI. THE MTC WILL BE USED TO CONTRACT WITH AN ORGANIC CERTIFIER TO DEVELOP A PROGRAM FOR NON-GMO SEED/CROPS IN MISSOURI. IT IS A WAY THAT IS MAKES IT EASIER FOR A FARMING BUSINESS TO GET STARTED PRODUCING ORGANIC PRODUCT. $20,000 WAS SPENT WITH MID-AMERICA ORGANIC ASSOCIATION WORKING ON THE VISPS PROGRAM. VISPS IS A VERIFICATION PROGRAM TO VERIFY THAT A PRODUCTION IS CHEMICAL FREE AND NON-GMO.
