YOUTH PROGRAMS: CI FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS AND IN-KIND DONATIONS TO SUPPORT A VARIETY OFCOMMUNICTY YOUTH INITIATVES. 1) FIRST TEE MIAMI: CI FOUNDATION PROVIDES GOLF EQUIPMENT, APPAREL AND SUPPLIES FOR THE DRIVE FOR SUCCESS PROGRAM AT FIRST TEE MIAMI. IN 2018, WE WERE ABLE TO OUTFIT 120 UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTHS LEARNING TO PLAY GOLF IN BRAND NEW GOLF SHOES. 2) CITY OF MIAMI BEACH PAL CENTER: CI FOUNDATION WAS ABLE TO DONATE 20 BRAND NEW BASKETBALLS TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE SPORTS DRIVE. HELPS THEM FOR THEIR AFTER SCHOOL LEAGUES FOR AT RISK KIDS. 3) CI FOUNDATION DEVRLOPED AND LAUNCHED THE FITNESS PORTION OF OUR OWN EAT SMART PROGRAM. CI FOUNDATION PROVIDED 1500 KIDS IN NEED WITH SCHOLARSHIPS TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE IN OUR YOUTH FITNESS CLINICS. EAT SMART PROGRAM FOCUSES ON THE FIGHT AGAINST CHILDHOOD HUNGER AND CHILDHOOD OBESITY, WHILE EDUCATING PARTICIPATING YOUTH ON HEALTH, WELLNESS, EXERCISE AND NUTRITION. 4) RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE: CI FOUNDATION PROVIDED MORE THAN 2000 BOOKS TO THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE BOOK DRIVE. THESE EFFORTS AFFECT MORE THAN 4000 FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. 5) FLORIDA STATE FOSTER/ADOPTIVE PARENT ASSOCIATION: DONATED 250 BACK PACK AND ATHLETIC BAGS TO THIS ORGANIZATIONS BACK PACK DRIVE. EMPOWERS CHILDREN IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM TO RELOCATE TO NEW HOMES WITH THEIR BELONGINGS IN A PROPER BAG AS OPPOSED TO A TRASH BAG BUILDS PRIDE AND SELF-ESTEEM. 6) RICH GRACE FOOD BANK: CI FOUNDATION DONATED OVER 10,500 FOOD AND BEVERAGES ITEMS TO THE RICH GRACE FOOD BANK DURING THEIR CANNED FOOD DRIVE AND BOTTLED BEVERAGE DRIVE. MOST OF THESE GOODS WENT TO FAMILIES IN NEED WITH SMALL CHILDREN.
