THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATES EXCLUSIVELY AS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT ACTIVITIES WHICH ARE SOLELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, OR TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA STUDENT LOAN CORPORATION. FORM 1023 WAS FILED FOR EDVANTAGE IN JANUARY 2013 AND APPROVAL OF ITS TAX EXEMPT STATUS, EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2011, HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
