CHESTERFIELD ACADEMY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, INC. PROVIDES PRE-SCHOOL SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AGES SIX MONTHS TO FIVE YEARS AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN UP TO THE AGE OF TWELVE. EACH AGE GROUP HAS ITS OWN SEPARATE CLASSROOM AND EACH CLASSROOM HAS CURRICULUM IN PLACE, WHICH IS CARRIED OUT THROUGH LESSON PLANS. THE CURRICULUM IS "THEME-BASED", MEANING THAT CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES REVOLVE AROUND A DIFFERENT PARTICULAR THEME EACH WEEK. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE HANDS ON SCIENCE AND COOKING PROJECTS, ARTS AND CRAFTS, LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT AND MATHEMATIC ACTIVITIES, SONGS AND GAMES AND DAILY GROSS MOTOR SKILLS.
