SPACE GENERATION CONGRESS (SGC). THE SPACE GENERATION CONGRESS (SGC) IS THE PREMIER EVENT OF THE SPACE GENERATION ADVISORY COUNCIL, HELD ANNUALLY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL ASTRONAUTICAL CONGRESS (IAC) AT THE SAME HOSTING LOCATION. AROUND 150 DELEGATES FROM AROUND THE WORLD ARE SELECTED THROUGH A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE PROCESS TO ATTEND THIS PRESTIGIOUS EVENT. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES KEYNOTE SPEAKERS FROM ACROSS THE SPACE SECTOR, TOPICAL DISCUSSION PANELS, AND FOCUSED WORKING GROUPS TO DELIVER ON THE VOICE AND THOUGHTS OF STUDENTS AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE. THE REPORT FROM THE CONGRESS IS DELIVERED TO THE UNITED NATIONS COMMITTEE ON PEACEFUL USES OF OUTER SPACE AND OUR PARTNERS.
SPACE GENERATION FUSION FORUM (SGFF). HELD ANNUALLY IN SCENIC COLORADO SPRINGS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SPACE SYMPOSIUM, THE SPACE GENERATION FUSION FORUM IS A MULTI-DAY, HIGH-INTENSITY, FAST-PACED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND NETWORKING EVENT FOCUSED ON THE INTERNATIONAL AND US SPACE INDUSTRY. DELEGATES ARE STUDENTS AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS FROM AROUND THE WORLD AND VARIOUS FACETS OF THE SPACE SECTOR INCLUDING SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, LAW/POLICY, BUSINESS/COMMERCE, MEDICINE, MEDIA, MILITARY, AND GOVERNMENT. THROUGH DISCUSSION TRACKS, EXPERT PANELS, KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS, AND INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES, THESE SELECTED DELEGATES "FUSE" THEIR PERSPECTIVES.
SGX. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FUTURE SPACE LEADERS FOUNDATION (FSLF) AND SATELLITE 2021, SGAC HOSTED ITS SIXTH SGX ON SEPTEMBER 7TH, 2021. SGX IS A TECHNOLOGY-FOCUSED EVENT THAT BRINGS TOGETHER YOUNG PROFESSIONALS, INDUSTRY EXPERTS, AND GOVERNMENT LEADERS TO DISCUSS PRESSING ISSUES AND INNOVATIVE IDEAS IN AN EXCITING WAY. THE PROGRAM WAS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS IN 2021.
SGAC WAS ALSO INVOLVED IN REGIONAL WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS SUCH AS SPACE GENERATE WORKSHOPS FOCUSING ON SPACE ISSUES THAT ARE OF INTEREST TO THE REGION. SGAC CONTINUED WITH SMALL PROJECTS RELATED TO EXEMPT PURPOSE.
