THE MISSOURI BROADCASTERS HAS LONG MAINTAINED A NONCOMMERCIAL SUSTAINING ANNOUNCEMENT PROGRAM THROUGH WHICH MEMBER RADIO AND TELEVISION STATIONS IN THE STATE VOLUNTARILY DONATE AIRTIME WHICH THE ASSOCIATION, UNDER THE PROGRAM, MAKES AVAILABLE TO GOVERNMENTAL AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ENTITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO ACHIEVE STATE-WIDE COVERAGE OF THEIR ACTIVITIES, EVENTS, AND PROGRAMS WHICH BENEFIT THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.
THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL CONVENTION WHICH SERVES TO STRENGTHEN THE RELATIONSHIPS AMONG MEMBERS OF THE BROADCASTING INDUSTRY.
THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS SEMINARS AND TRAINING FOR TELEVISION AND RADIO STATIONS TO ALLOW BETTER PUBLIC INTEREST SERVICE.
THE ASSOCIATION AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE ENROLLED OR PLAN TO ENROLL IN A BROADCAST OR RELATED HIGHER EDUCATION CURRICULUM TO ASSIST THEM TO BECOME VALUABLE EMPLOYEES IN MISSOURI'S BROADCASTING INDUSTRY.
