BRIGHT MINDS GRANT PROGRAM IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES FUNDING FOR SPEACIAL PROJECTS OR ITEMS TO HELP SWEENY ISD MEET ITS ACADEMIC GOALS. IT RECOGNIZES AND REWARDS FOR INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE ACADEMIC APPROACHES. IT PROVIDES FUNDING TO ENCOURAGE AND REFINE SUPPLEMENTARY ACADEMIC MOTHODS THAT IMPACT LEARNING BEYOND TRADITIONAL CLASSROOMS APPROACH.


THE FOUNDATION RECEIVES FUNDS TO SUPPORT MULTIPLE PROGRAMS AND EVENTS FOR THE DISTRICT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE PROGRAMS IN 4A-4C, CONVOCATION,


THE FOUNDATION GAVE A DONATION TO THE DOLLY PARTON IMAGINATION LIBRARY


THE CATALYST PROGRAM, PART OF THE CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, PARTNERS WITH BRAZOSPORT COLLEGE WHERE A STUDENT CAN OBTAIN THEIR ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE BY THE TIME THEY GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL IN A HIGH-DEMAND FIELD.
