THE USAFL IS A NON-PROFIT AMATEUR SPORTS ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF AND PARTICIPATION IN AUSTRAILIAN FOOTBALL IN THE UNITED STATES. THE USAFL PROMOTES PARTICIPATION BY EMPHASIZING AWARENESS AND A SENSE OF COMMUNITY WITHIN ITS MEMBERS, BY SETTING STANDARDS BY WHICH MEMBER CLUBS AGREE TO ABIDE AND BY FOSTERING YOUTH PROGRAMS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. WE ARE THE SOLE REPRESENTATIVES OF AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL IN THE UNITED STATES.

THE USAFL SERVES OVER 45 CLUBS AND APPROXIMATELY 1,500 PLAYERS AND OTHER SUPPORT STAFF. A MONTHLY E-NEWSLETTER IS PUBLISHED EACH MONTH TO MEMBERS AND THERE IS A CONTINUAL FLOW OF INFORMATION TO CLUB PRESIDENTS, VIA EMAIL UPDATES, SOCIAL MEDIA, WEB PAGES AND CONFERENCE CALLS. AN ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IS HELD EACH OCTOBER. PROGRAMS IN 2021 INCLUDED THE MANAGEMENT OF A COACHES ASSOCIATION, UMPIRES ASSOCIATION, WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION, ADMINISTRATOR'S CONFERENCE, SIX REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS AND A NATIONAL TOURNAMENT.
