TO STRENGTHEN THE SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY BY EXPANDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, ENHANCING LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS, AND PROVIDING NEED-BASED FUNDING AND SERVICES FOR OUR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES.

SCHOLARSHIP ADMINISTRATION - ADMINISTERED APPROXIMATELY 100 SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS. AWARDED OVER 160 SCHOLARSHIPS RANGING FROM 100 TO 5,000 TO INDEPENDENCE SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS OUT OF OVER 80 SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS. AWARDED OVER 550 DUAL CREDIT SCHOLARSHIPS (HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE CREDIT) TO INDEPENDENCE SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS.


DISTRICT SUPPORT - PROVIDED GRANTS AND PAYMENTS TO THE INDEPENDENCE SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR PROGRAM SUPPORT INCLUDING NEW TEACHER GRANTS, CLASSROOM GRANTS, PROGRAM SUPPLIES AND ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS.
