MLK DAY OF SERVICE IN HONOR OF GREG POLESKI WHO STARTED THE CLEAN UP ON CORA ISLAND MANY YEARS AGO. TEAM LEADER SPECIAL HANDLING SEMINAR WAS HELD VIRTUALLY. MISSION CLEAN STREAM CONTINUED WITH A REDUCED FOOTPRINT AND SOCIALLY DISTANCED PROCEDURES. WE HOSTED THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER CITIES AND TOWNS INITIATIVE ST LOUIS KICK-OFF OF THE PLASTIC POLLUTION REDUCTION PROJECT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE UN-NEEP AND NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. DARDENNE DAY WATER QUALITY MONITORING TOOK PLACE IN THE SPRING AND THE FALL. RIVER SOUNDINGS WAS CANCELLED FOR YET ANOTHERYEAR. RACE FOR THE RIVERS TOOK PLACE, SOCIALLY DISTANCED, WITHOUT A FESTIVAL. BIG MUDDY SPEAKERSERIES HOSTED ONE OUTDOOR EVENT. WE HOSTED ONE HONEYSUCKLE HACK.
