AIGA KC HOSTED 10 LOCAL EVENTS WITH VARIOUS TOPICS SUCH AS OUR THREE-PART "DESIGNER FLIGHTS" SERIES WITH BOULEVARD BREWING COMPANY, MESSENGER COFFEE, AND WHISKEY DESIGN, "ADULTING 101," TAROT INSPIRED RISOGRAPH WORKSHOP, "PIXELS IN MOTION: CARSON CATLIN," WATERCOLOR CARD WORKSHOP AT PARADISE GARDEN CLUB, "RIDE THE WEIRD WITH JOLBY AND FRIENDS," "ENGAGING DISABILITY AS CREATIVE PRACTICE: PREVENTING DISABILITY DONGLES WITH LIZ JACKSON," ASHLEY AXIOIS, AND OUR SUCCESSFUL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM WITH PORTFOLIO REVIEW DAY AND MINI-DESIGN CONFERENCE "HUMAN CON" SPONSORED BY THE KANSAS CITY ART INSTITUTE. EARLY 2020 SAW A SHIFT IN LIVE EVENTS TO ALL VIRTUAL PER COVID-19 PROTOCOL ADDING VARIOUS EVENTS WITH A "WORK FROM HOME," "HOW TO COPE DURING COVID," AND SOCIAL JUSTICE THEMES. BEING A MEMBER OF AIGA KC ALLOWS BOTH PROFESSIONAL AND STUDENT DESIGNERS ACCESS TO EXCLUSIVE PROGRAMMING AND ADVANCE-SALE TICKET PRICING.
