HEALTH AND WELFARE: MORNINGSTAR OUTREACH PROGRAM INCLUDES BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION AND OUTPATIENT TREATMENT COMPONENTS TO ASSIST AMERICAN INDIAN INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH A PLAN FOR RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE, MAINTAIN THEIR RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE, AND ASSIST LIVING FREE OF CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY. ADDITIONALLY, THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SERVICES TO PREVENT, PREPARE FOR AND RESPOND TO COVID-19. THIS PROGRAM RECEIVES FEDERAL FUNDING FROM INDIAN HEALTH SERVICES FOR SERVICES TO ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
FOOD PANTRY: THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A FOOD PANTRY FOR LOCAL MISSOURI RESIDENTS, NATIVE AND NON-NATIVE, AND FOR KANSAS NATIVE AMERICANS WITH INCOMES WITHIN POVERTY GUIDELINES.
